In our practice we use the most state-of-the-art technologies available in the field of endodontics today. These technologies include:
GentleWave - This allows us to clean and disinfect your tooth using broad spectrum acoustic energy within the procedure fluids to flush and clean the root canal system with greater efficiency and efficacy. Importantly, this procedure results in a cleaner root canal system while preserving the natural root structure. That means greater comfort and long lasting results.
Surgical Operating Microscope - Used in 100% of proceedures. This allows microscopic visualization of the tooth and the ability to locate and treat all canals effectively.
Digital Microscope Photography - With a camera attached to the microscope, photos of your tooth at high magnification are taken during each step of the proceedure. This allows both you and your referring dentist to easily visualize the unique features of your tooth, and the quality of treatment being provided. These photos are included in our referral reports back to your dentist, so he/she will be best prepared for your return visit for your filling and/or crown.
Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CT) - Focused field CT scanning allows for precise 3-D examination of root anatomy (curvature, length, and number of canals), enhanced early diagnosis of pathology (precise location and extent), and accurate pre-surgical anatomic evaluation. Knowing this information ahead of time prevents unnecessary exploratory procedures, and improves accuracy and efficienty of treatment.
Digital Radiography - Instant results, significantly reduced radiation exposure, and improved communication with your referring dentist.
Ultrasonics - Used with the microscope, this tool enables unprecidented precision in locating calcified canals and removing unwanted prior restorative material.
Nickle Titanium Files - Enables treatment of canals with severe curvature while maintaining healthy root structure.
Warm Vertical Compaction of Gutta Percha - Enables a sealed 3 dimensional fill of the root canal space.
